Come down to Monmouth this Saturday for the return of Monmouth Market to Agincourt Square! Expect street performers, balloons, colour, competitions, musicians and of course, great market products! To coincide with Halloween, there will also be a themed treasure hunt (and magicians!!). The new expanded market will be located outside Shire Hall, as well as in the usual location of the former cattle market car park
Then, whilst you are in Monmouth, why not pop into one of the local tourist attractions? The newly refurbished Shire Hall is a good place to start (as it is right next to the market!) with its 19th Century court room, prison cells and Henry V tapestry. Or the nearby Nelson Museum, with artifacts belonging to the great man himself. Or the Regimental Museum (and Castle where Henry V was born!). Or the Medieval Town Bridge. The list is endless!
This is on top of the many independent stores dotted around the town, which helps to give Monmouth it's unique appeal. So come on down and celebrate Monmouth!
