The exhibition is of recent work from first year students and staff from the Fine Art Programme of the School of Art and Photography, Univerity of Wales, Newport, made in response to the exhibition The Wye Tour and its Artists shown at the Chepstow Museum in 2010.

Brady Knight painted this Turneresque vision of Chepstow Castle.

River Wye Reflected by Keiran Lyons. The students' workshop culminated in a boat trip upstream, where they drew, sketched, made notes, and worked from documentary photographs taken en route.

Marina Brierley says that the watercolour in her painting of Chepstow Castle "softens curtain walls in contrast to ink which produces sharp silhouettes settings."

The students' body of work follows a major exhibition displayed at Chepstow Museum during 2010, which, for the first time, brought iconic works by many Wye Tour artists back to the region that inspired them.
