Big Black Mountains Challenge

The Big Black Mountains Challenge is an annual fund raising event usually held in May. The event consists of a choice of three testing walks/runs of 43km, 29km and 16km between them taking in 15 summits over 660m around the breathtaking scenery of the Black Mountains.

Your entry fee forms the largest proportion of the funds raised, but any further efforts to support us with donations or sponsorship large or small for your walk/run are greatly appreciated.
However unlike some other events sponsorship is not compulsory and we will be happy to see you either way.

Entries for this years event are now open and we are all hoping for fantastic weather for the event as we had in 2010, but those of you who have done the event in previous years know that the weather can be one of the things that make the event a challenge.

Please go to the Big Black Mountains Challenge page, download and complete the form and return it to us. As highlighted on the entry form, places are limited and unfortunately we mean it. This is for both safety reasons and to protect the stunning environment of the Black Mountains. Every year we unfortunately have to turn away applicants so apply early to avoid disappointment.

Look forward to seeing you all on 14th May.
