Glanusk Charity Polo

The Legge-Bourke family relationship with the Welsh Guards goes back to 1940 when Lord Glanusk commanded the 3rd Battalion and most recently Harry Legge-Bourke served with the 1st Battalion for 10 years. He served with Lt Colonel Rupert Thorneloe, who was killed in Afghanistan along with 6 others and over 24 Welsh Guardsmen very seriously injured, and he still maintains close links with the Battalion since leaving. He is also president of the Merthyr Tydfil Branch of the Welsh Guards Association.

This will be a spectacular event and it is hoped that we will raise a substantial amount of money for the fund. It is open to all and we very much hope that you will enjoy the day and the choice of tickets that make it worth everyones while coming to support The Welsh Guards.
