Prestatyn Walking Festival

Walk More- Feel the Differance

Prestatyn, considered by many as being the gateway to Walking in Wales, is a wonderful base for walking enthusiasts, boasting the most famous of Prestatyn Walks — The Offa’s Dyke National Trail as well as the North Wales Path, Clwydian Way and the recently launched Dee Way, all of which feature in this year’s event.

This successful festival is now in it’s third year and the programme has been carefully put together to provide something for everyone, featuring 21 walks ranging from a 60 minutes health walk up to a more challenging 20 mile walk as well as a variety of themed walks including In search of the Knights Templars, In search of King Arthur’s Grave and Captain Morgan’s Treasure, and Talargoch Mining and Railway Trail and Secret Woodland and Meadow Walks. There will also be an exhibition with various displays at the Guide Headquarters over the three days featuring items of local interest and rural themes
