Bees for Development

Shop selling local honey, candles and onther bee products

Shop selling local honey, candles and other bee products, a range of hives and beekeeping paraphernalia, books and all things bees. Also African honey, products and display materials related to our work in developing countries.
During 2012 we are creating an Information Centre on bees and beekeeping for visitors to the shop.

We run Workshops and Courses at 1 Agincourt Street Monmouth, and at Ragman’s Lane Permaculture Farm.

Bees for Development provides a comprehensive Information Service for beekeepers in developing countries: we provide resources concerning apiculture and pollination services and work at the heart of an international network of beekeepers, publishing a Journal, providing answers to technical enquiries from around the world, and managing research and development projects.

Bees for Development’s website and our Journals are some of the world’s largest resources of beekeeping information: we have been working in this sector since 1993, and are well known to beekeepers worldwide.

Products available at the shop:
Honey, beeswax and products made from them such as candles, cosmetics, marmalade, fudge etc. Also Bee hives.

Shop opening times:
