I am a self taught artist who started painting as a child and has a real passion for the subjects I find myself painting, I have built up my experience over the years, by pushing myself with more and more challenging projects, which has increased understanding of Botanical art

Born in Scotland and now living in the beautiful Wye Valley and raising a family whilst holding down a professional career which takes me overseas. My very busy life has to have something which takes me away from work. Painting allows me relax and forget my real job. The countryside around me and our garden creates a wonderful back drop for the chosen subject where I observe and record locally grown flowers and vegetables.
