I live in Abergavenny and have been working here as a freelance illustrator/graphic designer for the last 12 years. I have drawn many illustrations for clients including local wildlife trusts, church trustees and county councils. At the moment I am co-illustrating and writing a Welsh childrens book with my daughter.
I primarily take commissions for pet portraits which are mainly dogs and horses but have included cats, goats, cows and a truck!
These images show the depth and detail of the work that I am able to produce. The quality of the photographs will determine the clarity of the finished picture.
Initially, I arrange meetings with clients to take a number of photographs from which the client is able to choose the one that they prefer. We then decide together the overall size and finished composition. A commissioned work will normally take about a month to produce and I will commit to completing the work to the client's deadline.
Commissions of landscapes and historic buildings are also an important part of my portfolio. Favorite views of the local countryside make perfect gifts for your family and friends. Perhaps you have a holiday photograph of a coastal view that you would like painted or drawn to make a more lasting memento.
All finished commissions are presented with a double mount in a complimenting colour. Pictures are delivered unframed so that clients are free to decide on a suitable frame for themselves.
Please feel free to call me at any time to discuss your project.
