River of Silver

I make original enamelled pieces and am inspired by the beautiful trees that are around me in the Forest of Dean. Some are framed using natural bark which complements the designs.
Enamel is a process where ground glass is sieved onto copper and fired at high temperature in a kiln. The colours and effects produce interesting designs.

I also design and make silver jewellery by crocheting fine silver wire and incorporating glass beads; my pieces include ear-rings, brooches, necklaces pendants and wall pieces. In some of my designs, I use sea-glass, discovered whilst beachcombing and I am also fond of using natural pearls and glass beads.
