My work reflects my interests in Biblical theology, poetry and the landscape culture, history and economy of rural north Monmouthshire where I live.
I use a variety of techniques in my work but principally, collagraph, woodcut, linocut and offset. Often I produce monotypes incorporating more than one printing method and with the addition of text and chine collé. I hope to draw the viewer into the imagery to explore layered and often ambiguous meanings.
I exhibit widely. Recently I have had work in a number of exhibitions and galleries including: Wrexham Print International; RWA Open Print 2009; Original Print Gallery Dublin; Worcester Cathedral; Apple Store Gallery, Brockhampton; Parkfields Gallery Ross-on-Wye; Off the Wall Gallery, Landaff; Washington Gallery, Penarth; Alabasters, Pottstown, Pennsylvania USA; Climate Gallery, New York, The Art Shop, Abergavenny and Abecedarian Gallery, Denver and prints in the Palace Art Fest, Hereford and the Douro Biennial, Portugal.
