2013 Sponsors and Thanks

DIOLCH YN FAWR!

2013 - This is the fourth Llandovery Sheep Festival - an event initially inspired by the workshops held by the Llandovery & District Chamber of Commerce (in conjunction with the then Collabor8 Project run by Brecon Beacons National Park Authority) and the creation of the "Love Llandovery" Campaign in 2010; a campaign to create a unique identity for the town
The event is now named as the number one event in our area in the latest 2013 Discover Carmarthenshire brochure
The themes of Sheep and Wool are intertwined in our history and culture and this, together with the launch of the Wool Project earlier in 2010 by HRH the Prince of Wales, we hope will help towards boosting the economic sustainablity of our town and its surrounding area.
A special big thank you goes to our patron, HRH The Prince of Wales, for taking such a keen interest in the festival and our town, now TRH's Royal Home in Wales. What an honour for our community and a huge tribute to the enthusiasm and love we have for our home.
