Getting on the water in Anglesey

Our tip though is to keep yourself safe - sea, tides and changeable weather can all present dangers to the unwary. Always ask if you are unsure, wear life jackets on boats and keep a careful eye on children.
Tide tables are available in lots of local
outlets and read warning signs on beaches and slipways.

Coarse Fishing:
Anglesey offers a huge range of coarse fishing rivers and lakes where you can catch roach, perch, bream, carp, tench, eels, gudgeon and pike.

Sea Fishing:
Sea angling is catching fi sh from the shore or a boat using a rod and line. Th e coastline of Anglesey off ers many diff erent types of sea bed
where you can fi sh for a huge variety all year. With such varied seas, it is understandable why Anglesey draws in both the fi sh and the anglers who seek them.
