Mountain biking in Brechfa Forest

Brechfa Forest is becoming widely respected in mountain biking circles. We have three trails all designed by Rowan Sorrell.

The Derwen trail a combination of green and blue routes is that rare thing. A mountain bike trail which is designed to help novices build their skills.

The red Gorlech trail the trail is a hard, fast, all weather surface which becomes more and more exciting as your skill level and speed progresses.

The black Raven trail is collecting glowing reviews across the board from all who have ridden it so far.

If you want to make a longer break of your stay in the area, Why not call in at Afan on your way to Brechfa, or pop over to one of the 16 mountain bike trails in the Brecon Beacons? Additionally, the Red graded Cwm Rhaeadr trail is about twenty miles northeast of Brechfa and well worth a look if you are in the area.
