Bicycles can be hired and there are even companies who will take you & your wheels to different start points across the Park. The Beacons Bus, running in the summer, allows you to put your bike on their bike trailer if you want to take a rest from pedalling!

The Usk can be accessed in the winter months with a permit for those who have more experience. The Brecon & Monmouth Canal, Llangorse Lake & Pontsticill Reservoir are also all suitable for canoeing & training.
For those wanting to arrive on a bike The Taff Trail can bring you into the heart of the Brecon Beacons from the south whilst The Lon Las Cymru (National Route 42) runs along the eastern boundary through the stunning Gospel Pass & Llanthony Valley.
