'Our Wonderful Summer Wedding!
29 July 2013
We have just spent an amazing very long weekend at this beautiful house, we chose the Mynydd Ednyfed last year as our perfect venue to get married because not only is this a beautiful venue but also Maureen and Arwel the owners are the loveliest couple!
We had the whole house to ourselves and guests from Wednesday to Monday, Maureen and Arwel catered for us on Thursday for a family birthday barbecue which was delicious! And then organised and executed our beautiful wedding. The food choices we had made for the wedding breakfast were our favourite foods and we weren't disappointed... The amount of comments about how good the food was was testament to them!
The attention to detail alongside a very relaxed atmosphere was everything we wanted for our special day. We were blessed with the weather and the grounds were perfect for some summer cricket & rounders!
If your considering a break with family & friends or a wedding venue then this place should definitely be visited! It's not main stream or owned by a hotel chain, which is unusual nowadays! But offers far more than any Hilton or McDonald chain... It offers that personal touch that is hard to find!
Thank you to Maureen & Arwel you really made our wedding weekend everything we imagined it to be and more xx

We had our wedding here in May ; really beautiful place.
All our guests on the day commented on the high standard of food, with a few even saying it was the best wedding meal they had ever experienced.
Room was very well appointed, comfortable and quiet.
Maureen the owner made sure everything went really smoothly and was very helpful.
We would definitely consider going back there with a large party for a stay now that the hotel is going to be predominantly for luxury self catering holidays in future.
Thank you Mynydd Ednyfed !
