Auntumnal Foraging and Afternoon Tea

Heading to Abergavenny for the Food festival?

Join us for a chance to explore the wild food of the Brecon Beacons. Adele Nozedar, author of the beautiful book on foraging The Hedgerow Handbook Recipes, Remedies and Rituals, will lead this foray just on the outskirts of the town of Brecon. Find the last of the summer’s fruits and discover some of autumn’s seasonal delights. Adele will teach you how to identify edible treats and how to forage sustainably.
After our afternoon of foraging, we will head to Brecon’s hidden gem, The Hours Café and Book Shop, to enjoy an afternoon tea featuring foraged foods. We will talk about the wild foods found on the day and give you lots of ideas and tips on what to do with your edible treats.
Please bring good outdoor clothes and shoes/boots. Be prepared for all types of weather!
