Find out more about the Wars of the Roses, which side will you support? The House of Lancaster or the House of York? Walk among the living history displays, try on a Tudor costume or join a talk by historian Emma Knight who will explore the 'Real Anne Boleyn' - surely the most talked about woman of the Tudor age.
Look out for Tudor characters on the day, both Henry VII and Henry VIII will be wandering around, plus a Beefeater who will be harassing anyone who isn't enjoying themselves! In keeping with the Tudor theme, there will be a hog roast and a Tudor tavern selling ales, meads and delicious organic cordials. There will be hot Welsh cakes being made on site and a cafe too. For the kids, there will be face painting, games and a family Tudor trail.
