Every Thursday in July and August visit the award winning Parva Farm (Silver Medal, International Wine Challenge) for a guided vineyard tour followed by a tutored wine tasting. No need to book, just turn up!
Enjoy a visit to Parva Farm Vineyard, the oldest commercial vineyard in Wales. Taste fabulous wines. Meet the producers. Stroll among the vines. Browse in the farm shop and plant sales area.
We are very proud that our wines have won awards over the years. Our 2009 Bacchus dry white won a silver award in the International Wine Challenge 2011 and also in the English and Welsh Wine of the Year Competition 2011. Afon Gwy 2010(medium dry white) won a bronze, as did our Glan Heulog (medium white) our Bacchus 2010 and our Dathliad rose sparkling wine.
Also, in 2010 our 2009 Bacchus (dry white) won a silver medal in the South West Vineyard Association Competition
There are wonderful views of Tintern and the Wye Valley, especially from the top of the vineyard, where you'll want to sit down and take it all in! You might spot some wild life as well if you're quiet! We have a resident family of Green Woodpeckers and Buzzards are frequently seen.
On your tour you'll pass a very old spring, stone built, possibly Roman and used later by the Monks of Tintern Abbey. Our vineyard is believed by some to be the site of the vineyard of Tintern Abbey.
