Tredegar House is taking part in the BBC’s major new season celebrating the Baroque era in music and drama from March 2013, with a live concert.
Presented by Radio 3’s Katie Derham, the concert will feature performances by musicians who are leading interpreters of music of the period.
Katie, who will be joined by the Antique Roadshow's Lars Tharp, will also explore the historical and social context of this fascinating era as revealed through the house.
Katie said:
'It's going to be a really special event. The concert has been carefully programmed to feature music that has particular significance to the location and, during each interval, I'll tell the story of Baroque through the story of the house.'
