For four weeks in June & July Chepstow will be transformed by over 90 events to celebrate the 13th Bi-Annual Chepstow Festival! From concerts to fireworks, walks to talks, we have you covered.
And best of all, this year for the FIRST TIME EVER, we will not be subjected to the whims of British weather! A high canopy will be erected in Chepstow Castle throughout the festival to allow you to enjoy the spectacle whatever the weather.
Another major development for Chepstow is the opening of the round Wales Coast Path, with Chepstow as the start/end point! To celebrate, this years festival will include a dozen walks, exploring the history, heritage and scenery of the area.
As always in the Chepstow Festival music is well represented, with Bands on the Bandstand, Wye Valley Music Society concerts in the Drill Hall, Chepstows singing star Karl Daymond and his performance partner Pippa Longworth with an evening of songs around the piano in the Castle. For this event they will be joined by a Norwegian male voice choir!
The Festival Finale will see a music and fireworks event at the Riverside from 8.30pm on the 22nd July, a spectacular way to round off a fantastic month.
