Come to Monmouth Shire Hall for a packed weekend celebrating and exploring the South Wales Chartist rebellion, the last large-scale armed rebellion against authority in mainland Britain.

Explore the Chartist Courtroom & discover Chartist Monmouth with the guides, learn what it is like to live & eat in a 19th century gaol and learn more about the Chartist Rebellion and Victorian Trials.

Victorian Quiz (4th February, 7pm. Booking Essential) - Do you know a hulk from a hurrier, a corve from choke damp? If so, this is the quiz for you! A light hearted competition about Victorian Britain, and Victorian Monmouth in particular.
