Ice Skating in Newport!

This Winter come to the Riverfront and experience the fun of ice skating in Newport! The rink, situated alongside The Riverfront Theatre, will open on Saturday 10 December and skating will be available until Monday 2 January.

The rink will hold up to 100 skaters a session and there will be eight sessions a day, every day, (excluding Christmas Day). Skating will start from midday until 8pm offering early evening skating under the stars.

There will also be a variety of seasonal entertainment including street theatre, junior discos and competitions.

The rink will come with special dual skate blades and ice scooters for toddlers so youngsters as young as three years old can have a go. There are also wheelchair assisted skating options.

If it rains (or snows!) do not despair, for the ice rink will be canopied ensuring that you skate whatever the weather! So come on down this winter for a unique Christmas experience.
