Located at the crossroads of two ancient drovers roads, The Hand at Llanarmon has provided hospitality for travellers for centuries. From its 16th Century farmhouse origins, it has been transformed into a modern hotel, restaurant and bar which radiates character and charm.
The hotel is situated in glorious countryside at the head of the stunning Ceiriog Valley, with the wild and little-known Berwyn Mountains as a back-drop. This is a genuinely tranquil place in which to while away a few days, walking, horse-riding, or just sitting and soaking up the atmosphere. Almost any country pursuit can be arranged nearby.
Some wonderful National Trust properties - Erddig, Chirk and Powis Castles - are nearby, and many of the popular attractions of North Wales, such as Snowdonia, Portmeirion, and Bodnant Gardens, provide a pleasant day out within easy striking distance.
