The Moel Siabod Cafe Ltd

Situated in the centre of Capel Curig in the heart of Snowdonia just a few miles west of Betws y Coed, The Moel Siabod Cafe opened its doors in Spring 2012.
We seek to provide excellent food at a reasonable price with a warm & friendly welcome. Added to this our own love of Snowdonia makes us want to help you enjoy this beautiful location by encouraging you to go out there & enjoy our surroundings. With this aim in mind we have tried to create a cafe that is not simply a great place to eat, relax & enjoy the atmosphere but that will also be a point of reference for exploring Northern Snowdonia with practical advice tailored to your needs.

For the more experienced needing little or no guidance simply tell us your stories or try our challenges, we would welcome your help to build the cafe into the focal point for outdoor adventure in this diverse & wonderful landscape.

NEPAL PRESENTATION
We have now set a date of 22nd February for Fraser's & Paul's presentation evening. As previously outlined the talk will cover all aspects of their experiences from kit, travel, the trek itself & the experiences & thoughts that made it all so memorable. We hope it will inspire you to follow your hearts & embrace new challenges whilst offering you a worthwhile insight of where it may lead you. An admission charge of £10 includes a bowl of Gaby's Goulash with £8 out of each ticket sold going to their chosen charity CLICK SARGENT to buy additional Wheel Chairs for Children diagnosed with cancer to use during their treatment. the presentation will be in association with Cotswold Outdoor. An array of key kit, be it Paul's & Fraser's actual kit used (don't try these on they may not have been washed) or other samples from Cotswold's for you to actually try out will be on display.
The presentation itself is being pulled together with the much appreciated help of John & Marian from CHASING THE LIGHT who have offerred their services for free in order to help us maximise the charitable funds we hope to raise, this is no small sacrifice given the amount of hours & thought that they have put in already, thank you both!
On the following day Fraser & Paul are planning to take anyone who wants to participate on a long hard walk from the cafe but be warned if the weather is O.K. this might turn into an assault on either The Siabod Challenge or Half Round so fitness & experience will be the order of the day & of course a degree of mental in-balance.
To book a place simply e-mail us or ring Dorina on 01690 720429.
