The Preservation Society

We produce chutneys, pickles and preserves in small batches, at home, with love........
We use delicious local produce in all of our preserves and work with a number of local growers and producers – our local Food Heroes!

We produce a delicious selection of preserves; here are some to get your mouth watering.......: Ravishingly Raspberry Jam, Apricot, Almond & Amaretto Jam (the one the WI said was WOW), Very Chilli Jam, Scrummy Scrumpy Jelly with Sage, Chunky Chutney with Untapped Ale, Jalapeno Roulette and Preciously Preserved Lemons. And we also have some spice blends Keep Calm & Curry On & Fiery Fajita and infused Rapeseed Oil.

The majority of our produce comes from within a 10 mile radius of Chepstow; Crown Hill Nursery grow our onions, tomatoes and chillies, Medhope Cottage grow the most amazing raspberries and strawberries, we use local cider and vinegar and have a number of home growers that we “swap crop” with. We use Blodyn Aur Rapeseed Oil and Halen Mon Anglesey sea salt in all of our cooking and our jars come from C Wynne Jones in Ruthin.

We are currently available at a number of outlets South Wales. we will also be at a number of shows and festivals this year so check out our website and facebook page and come and join us!

We have a number of products available all year and some seasonal specialities such as our Ravishingly Raspberry Vinegar – we already have a waiting list!

We love to recycle, and will give you 10p off your next jar when you return your empty.
