The Tower Cafe offers a warm Benedictine welcome to all its customers. Situated within the glorious setting of the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Brecon, the cafe sits at the geographical heart of this Welsh market town.
With its garden available in the summer, we offer the only green space open to the public where you can while away an afternoon watching the world go by.
The Tower Cafe menu caters for all your breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea requirements. Wherever possible, our food is locally sourced and of the highest quality. All meals are freshly prepared using only the finest ingredients. We also sell homemade cakes and Illy coffee world famous and ethically sustainable. Fairtrade coffee is also available.
Wherever possible, we use local suppliers for all our food. Bacon comes from a butcher in Brecon, and all other meat and fish from the Black Mountains Smokery near Bwlch. Our homemade cakes are produced by Clams of Crickhowell, and our bread from the bakery across the road. Bottled water Brecon Carreg - is from the Beacons, and our award winning apple juice comes from Talybonton-Usk. In the near future, we are looking to source our salad ingredients from local farmers. Our homemade soups are freshly prepared on the premises every day.
