Great produce simply cooked without fuss and to order. We don't do "fast" food and we don't own a deep fat fryer.
The restaurant is open most evenings for dinner and we do light lunches in the coffee shop and weather permitting in the large rear garden.
The bar is open to all throughout the day.
Mid Wales has a justifiably excellent reputation for the quality and sheer variety of its local produce. All I and Judith set out to do is to take this great produce cook it simply with out fuss fresh and to order.
We dont do organic, its not necessary with such high quality local produce there is no advantage in taste or flavour.
The menu is short and without fuss and with great local produce there is no boil in the bag here"
The restaurant overlooks the lawn and gardens with plenty of space between tables to allow you to relax and enjoy your meal in comfort.
During the summer the french doors are open so that you may enjoy the garden during the evening.
The bar area is not large but there is additional seating as you enter the building and on winter evenings you'll be greeted by a roaring fire.
The Garden
A large south-facing garden, mainly laid to lawn and dotted with occasional flowerbeds and borders, stretches down to a small brook running alongside the Inn. This is an attractive setting for a peaceful rest in the sun with plenty of seating for those rare summer evenings.
