The Tea Room at Tintern Antiques

A tearoom overlooking the Wye at Tintern Promenade which engenders the life style of an age of sumptuousness.
Tea is served in fine bone china and can be enjoyed with home made cakes and sandwiches also served on Royal Albert bone china plates decorated with their 'Country Rose' pattern.
All tables are covered in fine white cotton or linen table clothes.

You are surrounded with shelves full of antique china and silverware.

In the tearoom are also two cabinets containing special displays of fine items which are constanty changing

The Tea Room serves discerning customers refreshments in a style which engenders life of a bygone age. A wide range of teas are served in quality bone china, with silver and silver plated cutlery at tables bedecked in cotton and linen table cloths. The tearoom also offers coffees, soft drinks and a wide range of homemade cakes and sandwiches which are gaining a reputation of being of exceptional quality.

We also serve coffee, with or without caffeine as well as Cappuccino and Drinking Chocolate

Those unable to stop and enjoy the tranquility have the opportunity to buy coffee, tea, cold drinks, cakes, chocolates, etc. to take away.

Enjoying tea in such a beautiful room gives you the opportunity to relax and talk with family and friends. At the same time you can gaze at the River Wye which runs opposite the Tea Room. You can also view the beautiful woods across the river which are constantly changing in colour and texture during which ever season you visit.

A great favourite is our cream tea which gives a large home made scone and butter with a jam of your choice and a generos portion of Cornish clotted cream. Together with this you have a pot of tea of your choice (or if you prefer coffee ..... no problem).

We also serve hot soup with a roll- a favourite during winter months.

There is a wide range of cold drinks available as well as crisps, chocolate and a wide range of ice cream - including some from our organic supppliers.

An off-licence also sells local beers and ciders as well as a discrete range of wines.
