Llandovery College

Co-educational Boarding and Day School 4 -18

Llandovery College is an independent co-educational boarding and day school in Carmarthenshire, Wales.

We welcome boys and girls aged 3-18.

One of the foremost independent schools in Wales, we combine scholarly excellence with a caring embrace; a respect for tradition with an eagerness to look forward. We are located in a safe, beautiful location where mellow old buildings blend with modern facilities in a wooded campus of 50+ acres surrounded by the Brecon Beacons and at the gateway to the Cambrian Mountains.

Our ethos is to nurture the individual talents of each child with a wide ranging programme of activities and educational experiences both on and off the curriculum.

Individuals thrive in our family atmosphere reaching extremely high levels of achievement across all fields. With a total population of 330, including 60 pupils in the Gollop Preparatory School and 75 in the 6th Form, you can be sure that every child matters.

The College retains a tranquil atmosphere due to the size and layout of the campus, we are a school where pupils have space to be themselves, to make life-long friends and to take part in activities that they wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to experience.

One of the oldest, and most respected independent schools in Wales, Llandovery College nurtures every child, offering a vast range of extra-curricular and sporting opportunities plus the chance to excel academically.
