Explore a mile of meandering pathways through beautiful ancient woodland. The paths wind through gullies and moss covered rocks, over bridges and through fantastic tree and rock formations. Also farm animals and wildfowl, tea room and children's play area.
You may think that the winding paths and gnarled trunks look a little familiar. That's because Puzzlewood is regularly used as a filming location. Episodes of Dr Who and Merlin have been filmed here, and the wood was also an inspiration, several decades ago, to JRR Tolkien, helping him form the imaginary forest of Fangorn in Middle Earth.
