Isle of Anglesey Riding Centre
Tal y Foel has its own riding centre offering a variety of activities to local regular riders and to people on holiday in the area, and individual riding programmes with beach and grass-track riding and instruction to suit all standards.
Llyn Alaw
One of the best trout fishing lakes in Wales. Well stocked with both Rainbow and Brown Trout. Fly, spinner allowed. Fishing tackle and worms for sale and fishing boats for hire. Llyn Alaw is well known for the variety of birds found there, often rare species turn up. There are abundant wild flowers and butterflies. There are two bird hides. Three picnic sites and a network of paths linked to the Sannan and Ceidio Circular walks. There is also small information centre with details about Llyn Alaw and wildlife.

CartioMon Karting

Tyddyn Sargent Coarse Fishery
We have 2 lakes on the site, both of which are well stocked with a range of coarse fish including carp (ghost, common, mirror), bream, tench, perch, roach and rudd. All the fish are in excellent condition and provide a pleasant day for the novice and more experienced angler alike.
Llyn Y Gors Coarse Fishery
Don't be put of by the name - pronouncing it is probably the most difficult thing about our fishery - and you don't need a passport to get to Ynys Mon (the Isle of Anglesey). Translated literally, it means lake in the bog or marsh. It appears on original Ordnance Survey maps as a marshy area covering part of what is now the Carp Lake and the adjoining land. The marsh is still there, attracting countless species of birds, butterflies, wild flowers and other forms of wild life
Hootons Home Grown
The Hooton family has farmed at Gwydryn Hîr, Brynsiencyn since 1964. Today, with two sons, Andrew and James, Michael and Rosalind Hooton produce meat, fruit, vegetables, cakes, and jams. With other farm staff, a year-round production system is organized to produce the products that are available in our farm shop, Pick-Your-Own, and Farmer's Markets.

Starida sea services operate 3 dual purpose and versatile Angling/Pleasure Cruise boats on the Menai Straits at Beaumaris Pier.
All 3 vessels and Skippers are licensed directly through the M S A (Marine Safety Agency) to the highest standards of safety for operating up to 60 miles offshore carrying up to 12 passengers. And with two of their vessels, 57 passengers (Island Princess) and 85 passengers (Starida 4) on license classes 5 AMPERSAND 6 for the pleasure cruises on the Menai Straits.

Beaumaris Gaol
It's the gallows for you!
Beaumaris Gaol in Steeple Lane was built in 1829 by Joseph Hansom, the man who also designed the Hansom Cab. It is famous for its brutal punishment methods and a number of hangings took place there. It is now a museum with exhibits, some rather gruesome, revealing what it must have been like for prisoners then.

Canolfan Ulcheldre Centre
