Caerphilly Nordic Walks operates in and around the Caerphilly borough. Includes the use of the Nordic poles and tuition of the technique. Walks are approx an hour and a half in total and are suitable for all fitness levels.
Walks are led by Ed, who is a qualified Nordic walk instructor with British Nordic Walking. Nordic walking has been in Britain since 2005, having originated from the Scandanavian region. It is a complete overall exercise with many health benefits.

All walks will depart at 11am but participants will need to arrive at 10.45am in order to be shown the nordic walking technique.
The walks take place every Monday and locations rotate between the following each week:
Blackwood - Argoed
Wyllie - Ynysddu
Pengam - Bargoed
Friday 11am - Cwmcarn Forest Drive (more demanding walk)
Saturday 11am - Canal walk Pontywaun - Risca, Canal walk with stop at Canal Side Tea Rooms for a cuppa.
