Scenery Explained Wales offers 5 different day tours in the Brecon Beacons National Park. These tours are:
1. Mountains, Monks and Books (Departs from Brecon and Abergavenny)
2. A World of Heritage (Departs from Hay, Brecon and Abergavenny)
3. Classic Beacons and Historic Brecon (Departs from Brecon and Hay)
4. Waterfall Country (Departs from Brecon and Hay)
5. Castles and Legends (Departs from Hay, Brecon and Llandovery)
These tours are for up to 7 people and a picnic lunch is provided.
Scenery Explained Wales also offers Private Tours and Guided Hikes.
'Scenery explained Wales' is run by James Cresswell who comes from a local family and is a Geologist, Mountain Leader, Brecon Beacons National Park, Fforest Fawr Geopark and Dark Skies Ambassador.
If you want to book a Day Tour exclusively for your group, it can be done as a Private tour, additional specialised Geology Tours are also offered as Private tours. The maximum group size is 7 people if using my vehicle but bigger groups can be taken if using your vehicle or vehicles.
We also provide a range of Guided Hikes where the scenery and landforms are explained to you. The maximum group size is 7 people if using my vehicle but bigger groups can be taken if using your vehicle or vehicles.
We also offer Brecon Beacons holidays accommodating you in our bed and breakfast: Tara. Holidays can last from 1 to 4 days and included full board accommodation and your choice of guided tours and hikes.
