Canoeing/Kayaking explore and adventure on open water

What does it involve?
There are 2 main types of canoe the Canadian canoe based on the Red Indian canoe of North America which is an open boat usually paddled by 2 people with single bladed paddles. The other is the Kayak or Eskimo canoe which has an enclosed hull with one or 2 cockpits to sit in. Its paddled with a double bladed paddle. Choose either to take on your adventure on the beautiful Llyn Gwynant lake.

Who is it for?
Canoeing/Kayaking is a fairly physically demanding activity. Superb for all kind of groups as well as individuals. Suitable for children 8yrs +. All participants must be able to swim.

What do I need to bring?
We ask you to bring along swimwear, towel, pair of shorts, and trainers or walking boots (good sole needed).

Activity Schedule
● This is a 1/2 day activity
● Groups arrive at our centre at an arranged time to meet and greet your instructor.
● Get all your safety kit, wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmets
● Travel to the venue (approx 30 minute drive from our centre). Transport is not provided unless otherwise arranged.
● The day finishes once the activity has ended drive back to the centre and de-kit.
