Peterstone Lakes Golf Club

Discover a golf course in South Wales with no mountains to climb and no valleys to cross. A golf course that meanders through natural waterways with only the Severn Estuary lapping against the sea wall. You will share the course with an array of wildfowl, and maybe tempt the sea breeze to compliment your golf.

Peterstone Lakes is situated upon the Gwent levels in a site of special scientific interest, with the land being reclaimed from the sea over 1000 years ago. Centuries of farming by many generations, including Monks and the Romans were the forerunners in preparing the course for today's generation.... you, the modern golfer.

Opened in 1990 and complimented by a superb clubhouse, Peterstone Lakes has now become one of South Wales favourite golfing and social venues for a variety of occasions. The golf club has been under family ownership since December 1998. Remarkable changes and improvements have taken place in the Club house and on the course. Lakes have been extended, new bunkers built and ditches filled in and grassed over, making for a fairer, more interesting and challenging round. Whether you are an established player or a complete beginner, Peterstone Lakes has something to offer everyone.

Peterstone Lakes is an excellent 6,000 metres (6,600 yards) par 72 course which deserves its reputation as one of the best around. To compliment the course there is a practice field, putting green, nets and practice bunkers. We have a well stocked, professionally run Golf Shop which have golf buggies and trolleys for hire at very competitive rates.

Combine this challenging Golf Course with friendly and generous Welsh hospitality and enjoy your visit to Peterstone Lakes Golf Club.
