The course is an eighteen-hole, par 70 parkland course on the outskirts of Newport, South Wales in the middle of beautiful woodland countryside. Select Course if you wish to look at its layout. Please select Special Offers if you are thinking of visiting our club and would like to book a round for yourself or for your society.
The eighteen hole par 70 parkland course is predominantly flat and about 6,200 yards long. In addition there is a short nine hole practice area for new starter golfers although this is available for everyone.
The course is not physically difficult with most fairways reasonably level except for the ninth (uphill) and the tenth (downhill). Most fairways slope from north to south although some of the greens do not follow the same trend. There are very few hazards and all are in the form of small ditches, the main areas of difficulty being created by trees and the narrowness of the fairways at some critical points.
It is situated just off the M4 motorway at junction 24 just over a mile away from the Celtic Manor, the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup.
