Enjoy peace, comfort and superbly modernised en suite accommodation on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Rectory Cottage has been created for the 21st century by renovating a 16th century Grade II listed cottage and adjoining barn. Situated in four acres beside the picturesque Brecon-Monmouthshire canal, there is a far-reaching view across the Vale of Usk.
The Folly Room has a view of the 200 year old Folly Tower which stands on the hill - Mynydd Bach - Little Mountain marking the south-east corner of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The Studio Room looks east across the Vale of Usk and has much character as it retains features of the barn dating from 1625 from part of which it has been converted.
Each room has en suite facilities with a sitting area, colour tv, hospitality tray, hair-dryer; and the comfort of individually controlled heating - as well as comfortable beds for a good night's sleep!
Excellent golf courses, mountain biking and walking are all close by, in addition to many sightseeing attractions which include Big Pit, Roman Caerleon, numerous castles and Tintern Abbey. Other local activities include riding, canoeing, caving and fishing.
Local inns such as The Hardwick, Abergavenny and The Foxhunter at Nantyderry among others offer a choice of venues.
Not only is Rectory Cottage ideally located for exploring the Brecon Beacons, it is also not far from the Wye Valley and only half an hour by car from Cardiff with more sights to enjoy.
