Smithy's Bunkhouse is located on a working hill farm in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, just outside the market town of Abergavenny "The Gateway to Wales" .
.
Accommodation - the Bunk House consists of two dormitories sleeping 24 with separate showers, wash-hand basins and a drying area. The kitchen is adjacent with a separate common room across the way.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a catering sized gas cooker with hobs, microwave and fridges together with an ample supply of cutlery and utensils. Bench seating and tables provide space to eat inside and there are picnic benches outside should the weather permit eating al fresco!
The common room has a tiled floor, wood burning stove and easy chairs. A quantity of wood is supplied and extra can be purchased at a very reasonable price. There is some extra room above the common room which is usually used by group, leaders or snorer's (whichever the louder).
There is ample car parking and space is also available in adjoining fields for the odd game of football, etc.
A drying room is available (but which is actually not very good!) so we installed a large commercial drier next to the house which will dry anything .
Fantastic views of the Skrirrid Mountain
