Hall Farm Holiday Cottages

Hall Farm in North Wales is home to three delightful cottages. Just a short drive from Llangollen and set in glorious, open countryside, you can be assured of a warm welcome and total comfort in any of our 18th century cottages.

The Saddlery holiday cottage is approached via its own leafy lane and looks out over barley fields. This cosy conversion of an 18th-century coach house has many attractive stone and timber features. Relax in your own secluded garden or stroll in the orchard and enjoy sitting under the boughs of the cherry tree.
The living/dining room has a wood-burning stove and there's a conservatory. The well equipped galley-style kitchen has everything you'd need including a dish washer. The bathroom has a sunken bath, a double shower cubicle complete with seats, and a toilet. Open stairs to gallery double bedroom.

The Byre is a detached, character cottage, adjacent to the owner's home. It has been skilfully converted from 18th-century sandstone farm buildings to make a delightful holiday property with beams, handmade wooden features and level access to the ground floor.
Beamed living room with wooden floor. Kitchen/dining room with TV and wooden floor. Wet room with toilet. First floor: Double bedroom. Twin bedroom with TV. Bathroom with corner bath and toilet.
Sleeps 4
( cot and z bed if required )

Harvest Cottage has its own walled terrace and small herb garden, leading to a paddock within a secluded part of the grounds of the owner's home.
Living/dining room with wood-burning stove and stable door to terrace. Kitchen with handmade wooden units. First floor: Double bedroom with rustic four-poster bed. Bathroom with shower attachment and toilet.

Hall Farm Cottages are well located for exploring the beautiful welsh countryside. You only have to drive through Penycae to be inspired by views of the Llangollen Dee Valley, the Eglwseg Rocks and Dinas Bran Castle. Do not forget to stop for tea and bara brith at Prospect Tea Rooms.

For those of you who are more energetic, you can cycle across country to Llandegla Mountain Biking Centre. Alternatively you might want to kayak the Dee or Llangollen canal or take a trip on the steam railway or the horse-drawn narrow boats. If you have a head for heights take a stroll across the world heritage Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The Roman city of Chester is just 20 minutes away, and the two local NT properties - Chirk Castle and Erddig Hall - are both within 4 miles. Golf and riding 4 miles. Leisure centre, climbing and fishing 1 mile.
