2 Mill Street Crickhowell

This lovely south-facing cottage was extensively renovated in 2013 to provide two double en suite bedrooms to sleep four people. 2 Mill Street is in a cul de sac two minutes’ walk from Crickhowell High Street with its great shops, pubs and restaurants. A new kitchen, two new bathrooms and gas central heating were provided as part of the renovations. With mountain views to front and rear, private parking and wi-fi, it’s an excellent base for walking and cycling in the Brecon Beacons National Park as well as exploring the town. The living area on the middle floor has a sunny, south-facing aspect and has direct access to the front garden via some stone steps. It has a kitchen with breakfast bar, oven/grill, ceramic hob, integrated fridge and the usual appliances like a toaster, kettle and microwave. There is a utility room on the lower ground floor which has a washer/dryer, sink and extra fridge/freezer.

The other part of the living area has two comfy sofas, freesat TV, a DVD player, iPod dock, board games and wi-fi hub. The living area also has space for the dining table and four chairs which can be stowed neatly away when not in use.

Bedroom one on the top floor (above) has a south facing view to the Llangatock Escarpment, a king sized bed, hand made wardrobe and chest of drawers from Webbs of Crickhowell and an ensuite shower room with heated towel rail, sink and WC. There are views to The Black Mountains from the landing window just outside bedroom one.

Bedroom two (above) is on the lower ground floor. It has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and an ensuite shower room with heated towel rail, sink and WC.

Above is the ensuite shower room of bedroom one but both ensuites are of a similar style. The hand wash in our bathrooms is supplied by the Myddfai Trading Company.
