The converted stable is ideally situated on the side of Daren Lewd within the Eastern Region of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The perfect get away in the mountains at 1300ft, with excellent views of the Llanthony valley nestling below.

This family run self-catering accommodation oozes charm and has a relaxed, informal atmosphere, where visitors can soak up the peace and tranquillity of Capel-y-Ffin, in the Llanthony Valley, and the spectacular views and scenery.

Since its restoration in 2007, Stephen and Jayne Hart have carefully restored Trwyn Tal, paying particular attention to the characteristics of the derelict property they had bought and capturing the ancient, spiritual qualities of the Llanthony Valley.

This Welsh small holding of 30 acres, now boasts flocks of rare breed Balwen & Soay sheep, along with Micro pigs, poultry and offers a taste of the stunning Welsh countryside for a short break or a longer stay.

Capel-y-Ffin is situated at the northern end of the spectacular LLanthony Valley. Llanthony Valley has stunning views and the historic 12th century Llanthony Abbey; as well as oodles of great mountain walking and ancient forest and sheep droving trails.

The property is close to the historic book town of Hay on Wye, with superb views of Offas Dyke and overlooks the Number 42 cycle route.
