Sygun Cottage is set within 48 acres of privately owned land situated within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park , the breathtaking welsh countryside really is right on your doorstep, a mix of Mountains, Lakes, Woodlands and Streams. It has recently been fully renovated to a very high standard and offers fantastic non-smoking accommodation.
The spacious accommodation comprises of a fitted kitchen with slate flooring it offers a Fridge, Freezer, Cooker, Microwave and all the usual kitchen utensils.

The village of Beddgelert is 3/4 mile away and a lovely walk along the public footpath beside the Afon Glaslyn River. The pretty village of Beddgelert offers a local convenience store, Post Office, Ice-Cream Parlour, various Pubs, Cafés, Restaurants and Gift Shops.
As this area is a walkers paradise you may wish to go for long leisurely walks along the public footpaths from the village or even hop on the welsh Highland Railway for a 19 mile scenic journey to Caernarfon where you can explore the most famous of Waless Castles, Caernarfon Castle.
Porthmadog is a bustling Harbour town, full of individual shops plus a wider range of services including several nice cafes and restaurants, Indian and Chinese takeaways, Tesco Supermarket, Butcher, Baker, Greengrocers, Banks and Chemist. The leisure centre has a swimming pool, Gym, Squash, Tennis and Badminton Courts.
A short drive from Porthmadog you will find Black rock sands, this is an open, wide beach with fine sands. The name comes from the area to the west of the beach dominated by a large, multi-coloured headland rock, low-tide caves and rock pools, an area rich in marine life. Natural history is also a feature of the local sand dunes, which have been declared a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Unusually, you can drive onto the beach so its a popular spot not just for picnickers and sandcastle builders, but also for motor boats, Jet skis and Kite Surfing which have a special zone designated for their use.
