Ann’s Barn is a lovely welsh stone barn conversion at Wern-y-Marchog Farm. It is tastefully restored combining comfort and original features and stylishly furnished and decorated with stunning colour schemes making it a warm, homely and spacious retreat with privacy and offering every home comfort to ensure your holiday will be a memorable one.

It is superbly situated for keen walkers with footpaths leading in all directions to the main peaks of the Brecon Beacons where you can enjoy miles of uninterrupted walking with no need to use the car.

This is also the ideal place to stay for an action packed holiday with numerous activities in the local vicinity. Centrally situated for those wishing to explore the many attractions the area has to offer or just for a peaceful break and relaxation.

Oak fitted kitchen with an electric oven, grill and hob, a large fridge incorporating a fitted wine rack, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, filter coffee maker, toaster and kettle.
The light and spacious sitting room has a stunning feature wall with a picture window and wonderful far reaching views across the valley. A comfortable sofa and armchairs complemented with co-ordinating furnishings and fabrics. A real flame effect fire. A Sky TV, video and DVD, CD player and radio. Original oak beamed ceilings, oak flooring and a large afghan rug.

Up a flight of stairs to a spacious bedroom with a luxurious king-sized bed with co-ordinating quality bed linen, feature wall and fabrics. Antique pine dressing table and mirror, chest of drawers, a fitted wardrobe set in an alcove and 2 bedside chests with touch control lamps. Sheep-skin floor rugs and a wall mounted slimline Sky TV.

The bedroom has 2 Velux windows with black-out blinds, one to the east with views as far reaching as the Black Mountains and the other to the west side overlooking the well established wildlife lake and the peaks of the majestic Brecon Beacons.

Egyptian cotton bed linen, pillows and duvets are provided plus additional Welsh woollen blankets for winter if required to ensure a good night’s sleep.

Outside the back door is a sheltered, private, stone slabbed patio area with pretty flowers, shrubs and garden seating making it the perfect setting for summer barbeques with fabulous views across the wildflower meadow and overlooking the wildlife lake already home to various water fowl. There is also a garden shed, re-cycling bins, gas barbeque and an extendable clothes airer.

There is parking on the courtyard near the front door and also an additional private off- road parking area just across the road with an adjoining patio and seating area which makes a wonderful viewing point, a small mountain stream and a bird feeding station which attracts several woodpeckers and a variety of other species.

There is a safe communal enclosed play area for children with a swing, slides, see-saw and outdoor toys.
