Llundain Fach Little London B&B is set in a secluded location just off the Swansea-Brecon Road (A4067) and on the southern edge of the Brecon Breacons National Park, on the banks of the River Tawe, and surrounded by trees.
We provide relaxed welcoming comfort in an atmosphere somewhere between Enid Blyton and Donovan.
There is a large lawn and a small woods, where you can sit by the river's edge and enjoy the wildlife: herons, ducks, woodpeckers and other woodland birds, and the occasional otter and kingfisher even, maybe, have your breakfast by the river bank. Fishing enthusiasts are welcome to try fishing from our banks, and licences can be purchased locally.
There are some excellent pubs in the area for meals and real ales, or order in a take-away dinner from nearby Ystradgynlais to enjoy in the garden, your room, or our farmhouse kitchen. Home cooked evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement, at a modest extra charge.
There are two first-floor double bedrooms, one with kingsize bed and en-suite shower room; both have views down to the garden and the River Tawe. Both rooms have tea and coffee facilities, and hair dryer; all linen is provided. A third 2-bunk bedroom on the same floor is available for families or friends who are travelling together. We can also provide a cot on request for Bedroom One. Ironing board and iron available.
If your plans for a day out are spoilt by bad weather or a nasty blister, or even if you've just had enough of the fabulous landscape, there is also a cosy study between the bedrooms, with books, cards, old board games, that sort of thing. Make yourselves at home.
