Description
The accommodation consists of 3 bunk-rooms sleeping 6, 6 & 4 each has en-suite facilities with plenty of hot water. The kitchen/diner provides space for everyone and there is an additional relaxed seating area on the first floor. The adjacent chalet offers extra accommodation for up to 4 people (double and 2 singles).

Heating/Cooking Facilities

The well equipped kitchen has cooker, microwave, fridge, toasters, kettles and double sink. The barn is centrally heated. There is also a drying room for all your wet gear.

Seven pubs and a good selection of numerous eating houses from al a carte to home cooked food to takeaways are all within 3 miles.

What to bring

All bed linen is provided for the bunks with duvets. All you need bring is your towels. (and even those can be hired for £1 each).

Walking: The Cambrian Mountains and Elan Valley ('The Lakeland of Wales') make for a stunning background to enjoy an easy or challenging walk. The national trail Glyndwr’s Way, long distance foot path Wye Valley Walk and The Monk’s Trod are all nearby
Mountain Biking: Rhayader is surrounded by open hills with some of the best mountain biking to be had in Britain.
Bird Watching: See Red Kites soaring above and below, Visit the Elan Valley for a stunning background whilst watching for the many birds of prey, or for a closer look visit Gigrin Farm, one of the national Red Kite Feeding centres.
Fishing: Wales has always been one of Britain's premier fishing areas and Rhayader is the jewel in the crown. You have found an angling paradise.
Golf: Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells and Llanidloes courses are all within an easy 30 min drive.
Towns: The market town of Rhayader has Pubs (with food) 'Spar', Restaurants, Takeaways and a Leisure Centre with the larger towns of Llandrindod Wells & Builth Wells an easy drive.

Farmhouse breakfasts are available using our own pork sausages and bacon from our rare breed free range pigs and free range eggs from our hens.
There are covered areas outside along with multiple car parking and use of the garden for picnics, BBQs etc. If you want to BBQ please bring charcoal.

Beili Neuadd Bunkbarn is the ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts from ramblers, cyclists, canoeists to young adventurers doing Duke of Edinburgh awards. It is a superb venue for parties and celebrations with the cosiness and comfort required to help foster the bonhomie of a group; and is a perfect situation with lots of things to see and do in the surrounding area.

We now also offer B&B in the 16th century restored farmhouse in addition to the lovely bunkhouse and chalet accommodation.
Beili Neuadd has been returned to a working small holding so visitors can enjoy our rare breed pigs and small flock of Shetland sheep along with the delightful views and stands in 6 acres of gardens and paddocks with a stream, ponds and woodland. Visitors to Beili Neuadd also have access to our lovely grounds.
