The Walnut Tree Cottage

We warmly invite you to come and stay in our charming cottage in the Wye Valley. The Cottage accommodates up to 14 adults, has six en-suite bedrooms, Three reception rooms plus the conservatory, Private parking and large gardens with a sun terrace

Whether you are looking to relax and unwind or do something a little more energetic such as canoeing, cycling, walking or climbing, the Walnut Tree Cottage is the ideal place to stay. We also have links with local companies and are happy to arrange team building/ residential breaks. We have six en-suite bedrooms, with one bedroom being situated on the ground floor (although there are two steps up to the door). Two of the bedrooms contain both a double and a single bed and would make ideal family rooms

There are three receptions rooms plus the conservatory in which you can while away the time relaxing, reading, playing games or just sit chatting reminiscing on the past or arranging the future. The Conservatory is situated at the front of the Cottage which commands fabulous views of the River Wye flowing below, the valley and the Rock. Many an hour can be spent watching the wild life and the World go by from this excellent vantage point. On sunny days you might like to sit in the gardens or on the sun terrace absorbing the tranquillity of the wonderful scenery or just sit and doze.

The Cottage is set high on the banks of the River Wye, with glorious views of the River, woodland, valley and the famous Yat Rock itself and all this situated approximately 5 miles twixt the market towns of Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye.

Private parking is also available at the Cottage. Please be aware we do have a steep drive. However the car park is on the same level as the Cottage and therefore the car does the hard work so you do not have to carry your luggage up any steep steps.

The Cottage is fully equipped and comfortably furnished in order to provide you with a truly memorable stay – We are sure you will love it as much as we do.
