Peaceful mountain cottage sleeps up to 6. Situated a mile away from its only occupied neighbour, the property is an extended 17th century cottage in 6 acres of it's own land on the foothills of the Carneddau mountains. 875 feet above the Conwy Valley, with no neighbours and just a view of the mountains and woodland, it gives you complete peace and quiet. Away from everything!

The accommodation comprises of one double bedroom, one double and single, plus a double sofa bed. The living room retains the original ‘upstairs’ of a traditional Welsh cottage, which is now the balcony/third bedroom, which is accessed by a narrow stair. A dining area is below the balcony.

Comfortable for sleeping 4 – 6 people. With bags of character, it's open to the roof with exposed beams, slate floor and wood burner. Modern shower room and toilet, kitchen and hallway. Free Wi-Fi (subject to availability), plenty of parking. Patio area with outside seats. Access is via a steep road from the village of Tal y Bont, then ½ mile of gravel track to the house.

The house is situated in a location which some city dwellers might consider 'remote', however you can access a dual carriagway, supermarkets, multi-screen cinema and the town of Conwy easily within 20 minutes.

It takes about 8-10 minutes to drive down to the village where there is a postoffice shop, pub, restaurant and local farm butcher. On a still day you can often hear nothing - that is except for the sound of birds. At least one cuckoo will be heard in the summer months. The garden has a plentiful crowd of feathered visitors, including woodpeckers, tits, finches, plus barn swallows, redstarts and wagtails in the summer.

Buzzards fly overhead and will often be heard calling out. Owls can be heard all around at night in the nearby woods. The Dulyn river, with it's many rock pools and waterfalls, runs within 50 metres of the house, and is a wonderful place to walk, listen to the water and lose yourself.
