Our picturesque traditional stone farm cottage sleeps 5 confortably (maximum 6) in spacious and attractively furnished character accommodation with well equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. The cottage has central heating and a wood burning fire.

With beautiful views and surrounding landscape, you can walk from the cottage direct to the Sugar Loaf and its foothills, explore the Gwryney Fawr Valley, the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons, Offa's Dyke Path, the border castles and churches and many other local places of historical interest. Or simply relax in the privacy of the cottage garden, and farmyard. We can help you with suggested walks and ideas for days out and lend you maps of the area.

The cottage is easily accessible by car, 3 miles from Abergavenny, which also has a direct rail service to Newport and Hereford. There is ample off-lane parking. There is an excellent pub/restaurant with real ales and a friendly welcome just half a mile away at Pantygelli within easy walking distance.

Can Glas Cottage is the perfect base for couples, small groups of friends or families wanting a country break in spectacular scenery. Children and dogs are welcome. A small surcharge is made for dogs so please enquire before booking. The cottage is no smoking.
