The Gremlin Hotel

The Gremlin has been graded a 3 star Inn with three rooms inside, and three newly built cottages at the rear, The Gremlin Inn is located in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park with only five minutes walking distance from the town centre. The Inn also backs onto the Brecon Canal Basin, which is a popular location for hikes and biking, and which leads to the Theatr Brycheiniog so why not enjoy a theatre break at the Gremlin Inn.

The Gremlin Lodge consist of three cottages that have been built to a very high standard, and are situated at the rear of hotel with own enclosed car park. The cottages are one bedroom, which can be either twin or king size and conjoin with a bathroom that includes both shower and bath.
The downstairs consist of a mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and tea & coffee facilities. The lounge includes a dining area with table and chairs, a commercial bed settee, which can be converted into a double bed. There is also a hand basic, toilet, and WI-FI. The cottages are suitable for families and can sleep up to four people.

The Gremlin Inn provides a comfortable, relaxed friendly local bar, lounge and function area, which enables us to cater for small and large groups. We are also very proud of our good traditional welsh pub food, which is carefully prepared using fresh local produce.
Disabled access is limited.

The cottages have wheelchair access with downstairs toilet and a bed settee, which can sleep two people. Access to the pub by wheelchair is from the rear car park, and toilet facilities are provided.

The Gremlin Inn is one of Brecon’s most popular Fringe venues, each year, hosting a fantastic 3 day programme of events. The 2016 Brecon Fringe Festival will take place between Thursday 11th August to Sunday 14th August. The Gremlin Inn is the ‘hottest spot’ to be during the Jazz Festival so don’t miss out on this full weekend of live music, partying and entertainment!

The Gremlin is renowned for its grand Karaoke Competition that leads to a number of finalists performing at the Fringe Festival. If you have a talent at singing, why not compete in our Karaoke event starting in July 2016 at The Gremlin Inn, and have a chance to become famous for performing at one of Brecon’s top venues for the Fringe festival.

The charming old market town of Brecon is regarded as one of the most historic locations of settlements in Wales. It is sited at the confluence of the rivers Usk & Honddu, the latter providing the towns Welsh name 'Aberhonddu'.

Boasting a cathedral, theatre, cinema, castle ruins, stunning Georgian architecture as well as a canal basin Brecon has something for everyone.

A farmers market takes place in the town the town monthly and there is a twice weekly town market on a Tuesday & Friday
