Monmouthshire Holiday Cottage & Barn

Pet friendly 2 bed-roomed cottage sleeping up to 4 persons set in its own beautiful garden amidst lovely countryside. Ideally placed for exploring the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and Vale of Usk. Only 3 miles from the lively border town of Chepstow and less than 45 minutes by car fto Cardiff or Bristol.

The cottage was converted from a small barn several years ago and has been completely re-decorated to offer a warm homely atmosphere. Centrally heated, carpeted throughout and furnished with antiques a wood-burner in the lounge ensures that your stay is nothing but comfortable.

The two bedrooms comprise of one double and the second has a one single with ample room for a comfortable put you up for the 4th person.
The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower.
A separate fully fitted kitchen with small breakfast table has all modern conveniences plus a pair of binoculars to view the birdlife that visit the garden and bird feeders.

Outside there is a patio with table and chairs and fabulous views to the surrounding countryside. The beautiful cottage garden is filled with old fashioned flowers and roses and is a lovely place to sit and relax.
There's also an outside tap useful for washing dirty boots, muddy paws or bikes etc.
Off road parking for 2 vehicles and lockable storage available.
Linen and towels are provided.

Within a mile there are 3 pubs all serving food and two accept dogs.
Chepstow has a varied selection of restaurants and cafes and a regular farmers market.

A superb area for walkers with Wales Coast Path, Offa's Dyke Path, and the Wye Valley long distance walk not far away as well as the many paths on the doorstep. Attractions of local historic interest include the castles of Chepstow, Caldicot and Raglan and the famous Tintern Abbey beloved by Wordsworth and Turner plus a fantastic choice of golf courses and other oiodoor activities
